Editor's review
This is a tool that can schedule audio broadcasts and video playback etc.
Lark Scheduled Audio Broadcaster is an easy to use utility that can schedule playback of audio and video through different devices. It integrates several useful functionalities. It will help play out class preparation bell, bell for class start, bell for class dismissal, reveille, and other optional broadcasting music and programs through a set of loudspeakers. Scheduling of timed broadcast of teaching films, films, presentations and other videos to the electronic screens or televisions are also possible. The tool supports a large number of audio and video formats. In this broadcasting scheme of things, you are able to run sequential playback, loop a clip or a list of clips as also set random playback. You are able to arrange for commercial ad breaks.
The interface lets the setting up of these broadcasts quite easy. You start by setting up a list of the clips you want to play. The screen will show you the start time and the end time, set dates and the playback mode such as sequential playback, etc. Dates, weekends for example, when the playback should not be done. Timed playback of network broadcasting, hundreds of addresses for listening music radio stations are available for you to choose from. This is a tool that can be used in schools, factories, shopping malls, supermarkets, communities, public broadcasting and video playback to troops, etc. The choice of the font in the interface irritates me, but that could be subjective! Other than that, this is a nice tool.
